But I don’t, and would not rate him all that highly at any instance in history upon discovering him as I take an interest in comedy and philosophy seperately, and I see he is a performer in both of these categories. With my self-garnered context, I ajudge Bill Hicks to be neither remarkable as a philosopher or as a comedian, just compotent at both.

He had his own style, altough this shouldn’t be mistaken for quality.

This is of course my opinion, but it does have context. Sorry 4 the rant.

Usually, Incentive is a deffer ed payment of productive calls made by Marketing Executives, depending on quantum of Business booked by an Executive from the margin. You may give any thing between 10 to 15 % of your margin as an incentive to each Executive for additional Business i.e., beyond Target. Target too has to be fixed scientifically.

It is not a good combination. The skills and talents required are entirely different.I can not see many successful technical person in advt. mktg.or media.

Include most media outlets detract from the willpower of your average person. I honestlybelive that if a person was taken from more simplistic times into today then they would fare wel as their motivation levels would be more finely tuned than your average degenerate youth of today.

In other words ancient philosophy can’t really be disected.

Bill Hicks is not a worse comedian in my eyes for any exposure to toher work that I have had. He is too idiosyncratic as you say, to be compared.

To prove that the philosopher had not thought his/her ideas through. You only get a cut of the best bits, as most ancient philosophers such as cicero may well have stole their ideas from predecessing influences, the only way such philosophers may be acredited is due to their records surviving through time.

We have massve populatons today and for my money, the lowest intelliegence per-person for what may be all of history, or at least the most feeble minded.

    Such distractons that include…

I am not trying to be belligerent here but, I think I have put a lot of effort in to show that I do indeed have the ability to put things into their context. You however were quite lazy in brandishing me as not having any knowledge of history in your original reply. This still stands.

I also don’t believe you fully appreciate the dynamics of ancient philosophy. Such philosophy comes from near-archaic records and therefore will not be indunated with numerous justifications or examples to…

So Hicks spreading Chompsky philosophy as if it were his own is not an example of someone up their own arse?

Also, people are more likely to remember Russell than Hicks for the simple reason that Russell has become a bigger star in his prime than Bill ever did. Whether this is for better or worse it is true.

Russell tries to make people laugh by exploring philanthropy and by making mockery of very specifc aspcts of life. Bill has similar ideas based around philanthropy but tries to…

You have to be a good speaker, salesperson, and work hard.

Rather than a stunt, maybe go for effective.

    Use direct mail.

You have an advantage here in that people respond to "food offers" more than any other kind of direct mail.

Most managers mistakingly believe that they lose money whenever they give discounts…..bzzzzt! wrong.

By getting people to respond to your insane direct mail offer, you will increase your revenue by creating sales from those customers in a time frame that would not have happened naturally.

In other words, you are getting that guy who, on his own accord comes in say, once a month, or you might see him every two months for like three days that week, to come through your doors twice a month. You are increasing the frequency of purchases.

If you send out a worthwhile offer, they will respond….over and over…and over.

If you have a lame offer….ya..they won't budge.

ask your customers what it would take…get some feedback….then create a nice professional looking piece or two….send them out….get feedback….tweek the thing, till it produces results consistently.

This is how smart companies use direct mail. ….you know…the ones who use it year after year….thwy do it because they've learned how to make it work for them.

There are many good network marketing companies with great compensation plans. All will claim to be the best, yet the best one is the one that suits your interests. One may good for you and not good for another or vise versa. The key to success is enjoying what you do and building upon that. I am involved in the network marketing industry. I enjoy it. I enjoy being a solution to problems. That is where I choose to position myself. I also position my self in the health and wellness aspect. There are a lot of people who are looking for ways to improve their health. There are many who do not have good things to say about the network marketing industry. This is because of the statistics of failure and those who are out there hassling friends and family to join there bizz opp. If you don't find interest in what you do, how can you succeed? You also need to learn about your target market. I am not talking about warm market. Target marketing is positioning yourself in front of those looking for what you have to offer. I have been involved with programs that help you to know more about being a successful marketer. I suggest that you educate yourself as much as possible before going in blind. I would be happy to answer any questions you may have. I hope that this helps.
    BEST WISHES!

He tries to make people laugh by assuming a tough persona, and mocking a flawed society in a more generalised manner.

If you have read my previous comments, you will know that I consider one comedian as best at one thing, and the other as best at another thing. My opinion of both Russell and Bill however, is that neither are in the list of best ever stand-ups.

Bill was ultra-convincing, Russell is a fine example of an extemporaneous comedian. Both have their traits.

probably because his marketing strength is the younger wrestling fans. and since he is so over with them, why even bother to convert older male fans? the old saying is 'go with what brung you to the dance' and the younger fans definitely brought cena to the dance. screw em anyway he sux!

Russell Brand ??? Are you serious ???
I kinda like Russell most of the time-i.e. when he hasn’t got his head up his own arse-But c’mon,he’s not even in the same league Bill.People will forget Russell Brand in no time,Bill Hicks’ will live forever.

reason I said you had no knowledge of history. History as a science.
You learn to put things into their context. A lot of anchient philosopher’s arguments seem simple today, but for their time they where grounbreaking. No one was like Bill Hicks before him. No one did what he did. He may have better, more talented imitators, but they remain imitators. Do you see?
